Polished & Elegant Tarrytown Living Room
October 02, 2020 in Interiors Tour | no comments

Nestled in one of the most desirable streets in Tarrytown, our client’s home needed an edited plan to highlight their most precious pieces. With a fondness for antique furniture and accents, she wanted to incorporate her bespoke collections into a refreshed room design. Our goal was to create a polished, elegant, yet comfortable space that our client imagined for her home.

The main pieces that we had to work with in the room were our client’s existing rug with notes of coral, an antique armoire, and our client’s collection of art pieces. The rug’s colorway helped guide the room’s color story into a scheme of neutrals, coral, and citron.

For an airy and timeless feel, the upholstery is covered in a neutral palette. The neutral backdrop helps the coral and citron accents brighten the room in a soft, sophisticated manner.

The elegant sofa features sloped arms and tapered legs for a classic, tailored touch. Velvet coral pillows paired with a modern blush geometric print and a contrasting citron velvet cording creates a dreamy pillow mix.

Round skirted chairs with a soft, muddled stripe add even more pattern and texture to the room. Custom citron pillows with a printed coral tape applique bring in more of the complementary colors.

Incorporating a mix of antiques with new classic pieces help create an effortless and chic feel to the living room.

This elegant and polished room is a stylish and comfortable place for our client to enjoy. A room refresh with proper planning can highlight your collected pieces and present them in a new way. If your home deserves a second look, reach out to our team to help guide you through the design process.
