Before & After: Interiors Refresh in Corpus Christi, Part Two
June 05, 2020 in Before & After, Interiors Tour | no comments

Last Friday we revealed a new project that our team has been working on remotely in Corpus Christi, TX. Last week we toured the formal living room and this week we will reveal the den.

Before Den:

Before the den had a mix of pieces that felt dated. It also made the room look disjointed. The homeowner wanted this space to be casual, but also be kid-friendly. Much like her formal living room, she wanted the space to look fresh and updated.

After Den:

The den is now a stylish place for the family to gather. The sofas are upholstered in a forgiving and family-friendly performance fabric. Watercolor blue accents highlight the home’s pool views and lush backyard.

Here is a view of the new den from the kitchen.

The sofa is flanked by a pair of round side tables with matte sky blue lamps. We selected a custom wool and sisal blend to add to the casual feel.

We incorporated similar ottomans to our client’s existing ottomans and customized them in a woven textured fabric. They are on casters, so they move around the den very easily. Additionally, they add even more seating to the room.

On our install day we accessorized the room with a mix of new accessories and our client’s own pieces.

This is the view of the room when you walk into the den from the formal living room.

This bench and art might be one of our favorite moments in this room. We incorporated our client’s art into each space and this abstract piece was the best fit for the den. The pillows and new monogrammed blanket highlight the watercolor blues you will find in the room.

It is an enjoyable, creative challenge to work on projects all over the country. It exposes our team to so many different styles, while allowing us to remain true to our own classic, chic and serene aesthetic. If you have a project that needs our attention, start with our questionnaire. Once you submit it, we will talk through your project goals and explain to you our services.
