Last week we introduced you to our “A Twist on Traditional” project. We will wrap up this two-part Interiors Tour blog series today as we reveal a few more spaces in this Barton Creek home. If you missed last week’s blog, you can follow this link to catch up. As a reminder, in this project the homeowners enlisted our team’s help to interpret their traditional tastes into interiors that felt fresh, updated, and inviting. In the spaces we will tour today, you will see how we kept with traditional lines for a timeless feel while still incorporating a fresh palette of colors.
Guest Bedroom: “Pink Room”
In one of the home’s guest bedrooms, a palette of pale pinks make the room a serene and inviting space. A curvy headboard paired with soft pink accented bedding, lamps, and chinoiserie printed draperies makes the guest suite a calm respite for guests.

Guest Bedroom: “Lavender Room”
The other guest room is also dressed in soft hues, but this time it is shades of lavender. In this room, the homeowner wanted to incorporate a particular piece of art, the angel print you see by the window. Rose and lavender ombre printed draperies frame the window, while a small print in the same tones adds a dash of color to the bedroom accent chair. Hints of gold in the lighting, hardware, and other accent pieces feel even more vibrant in this peaceful space, while also highlighting the art treasure that the homeowner loves.

Study
The study is another charming space in the home. To fully appreciate the new look of the space, we have included a before photo.

Before, the study was paneled in a dark heavy wood. However, Benjamin Moore’s Phillipsburg Blue paint color breathes new life into the room.

A framed map, a handsome wing chair, and playful draperies add a dashing, fresh appeal to the couple’s study.
