We hope you had a Happy 4th of July! Today we continue our tour into the study of this glam Austin home.
The study is right next to the formal living room we toured last week. This space needed to have the same showstopping and opulent details as the surrounding interiors of the home. To start we incorporated our client’s hide rug and peppered in stylish office pieces from there. A desk with an alabaster finish, shagreen details, and a brass metal base warm up the space. The desk is paired with a desk chair with a chic custom detail. We added an 8″ black velvet stripe down the center of chair. Adding this detail always elevates the look of a chair.
Above the fireplace we added an oval starburst mirror with antique gold leaf finish. It defines the focal point and helps tie in the brass detail of the desk.
The white beaded chandelier is one of our favorite pieces in this room. It adds texture and glamour to the sophisticated study.
