The Villa Blanca Bedroom has a fresh spring makeover on today’s blog. Over the past few weeks we have been showing the difference accents can make in a space, particularly pillows. It also makes the case for the many advantages of a classic neutral space. They are much more versatile and allow you to mix up the design with the season or really anytime you feel inspired to add in something fresh and new. Just like your wardrobe, it is fun to refresh your room with the season. We love that our client wanted to incorporate seasonal pillows into her home. There are so many fabulous fabrics out there, why limit yourself? Here are more photos of the blush take on this Villa Blanca bedroom.
Beyond a blush palette of pillows and a few accents to tie in the color scheme, the room has all the same features. The iron frame bed and neutral draperies allow for the soft whisper of the blush accents to add even more serenity and softness to the room.
The classic rug with an antiqued finish adds a classic charm to the bedroom. The calming colors allow it to play well with all the other elements in the French modern inspired room.
Here you can see a closeup of the blush pillows.
A few more accents on ‘her’ nightstand/desk tie in the blush and springtime accent even more. The printed pillows have mix several motifs like arabesques, trelliswork and pineapples blended into one pattern. The cotton linen blend pillows have a sun-softened look.
The seat on the white lacquered chair is covered in a matching blush velvet.
In this photo you can see a bit more of the neutral tape used on the draperies and of course the darling desk vignette.
The bedside lamps have a modern appeal, while also adding in a pop of warm gold.
In case you forgot, the bedroom opens up to this fabulous renovated master bathroom.
