It has been a while since we have introduced you to our team so today we will take some time to get reacquainted. We still have a lot of familiar faces, but you may learn something new as we share more personal details and fun facts about each team member!

Heather Blue Harkovich, Owner

Personal Fact:

I’ve lived in 8 states and 3 countries. I have moved houses 6 times in the first 7 years I was married.

Favorite Not-So Guilty Pleasure:

Breakfast pastries almond croissants, pain au chocolat, cinnamon rolls

Favorite place to travel:

Any place warm with a beach.

Describe your personal design style in 2 words:

Serene & Classic

Favorite Design Tip/Piece of Advice:

Do I have to pick one? Lighting is the jewelry of the home. Bigger is better. Same with rugs. Go for a room sized rug (1 foot away from the walls on all sides) versus selecting one that is too small. Invest in good upholstery. Your back will thank you!

Be sure to buy pieces that are the correct size for the space. We have several clients that have trouble scaling the space and their items look too small.

The east side of Austin. It has good food and bars. It is also hip and walkable.

Once the necessities are covered,  be intentional with everything you bring into your space. I believe it’s better to hold out for that perfect piece and not settle for something “for now.”

You should have some sort of plan for your space before you shop. Note the dimensions and general functionality of each space.  It will make your space more cohesive in the end. It also makes your shopping more productive. It will also make the process feel less intimidating.
