The year has certainly flown by! We just wrapped up our first year in our Rosedale studio and just before the holiday break we took the time to reflect on this year’s accomplishments. In our last ‘official’ post of year, we would like to share some of this year’s exciting happenings with you.

Best Interior Designers in Texas
This year, we were excited to hear the news that we were selected as one of the 10 ‘Best Interior Designers in Texas’ by CUSTOM HOME Magazine. CUSTOM HOME Magazine is a national magazine that provides custom builders, architects, and home buyers with design ideas and resources for the design, construction, and remodeling of one-of-a-kind houses. We are still humbled to be recognized among such an elite group of talented designers. To see the full article, follow this link.
Key Projects
In 2018, we also had the opportunity to work on different design projects in the Austin area and beyond. We selected a few key projects that stood out to us in the year. Each project featured stood out in their own unique, defining way. Here’s a look back at 2018’s key projects.
Our team typically does not take on staging projects, but a past client requested a favor to transform their grand Pemberton Classic Heights estate and we were eager to help. The beautiful home sits on one of the best streets in Central Austin, Wooldridge Drive. It was marketed as ‘Private. Peaceful. Perfect.’ It was under contract within the first month on the market! Here is a link to tour the main spaces of this Old West Austin home (a “Pemberton Classic”), which we furnished and decorated.
This remodeled home nestled in the Texas Hill Country was transformed into a modern classic with furniture and decor pieces that had an elegant and ethereal feel, and a mix of modern and traditional details. We worked on many of the home’s main spaces, including the family room, formal dining room, and breakfast/kitchen spaces. You can tour the home here.
Our millennial clients wanted their South Austin home to feel casual, warm, and inviting. They also wanted the interiors to reflect the modern farmhouse style of the home. The modern farmhouse style blends some of the best elements of industrial, rustic, and modern design. This project gave our team the perfect opportunity to blend the tenants of the farmhouse style with our classic and timeless design aesthetic. Here’s a look at the main spaces.
This project was quite the transformation. It was a traditional burgundy dining room that was upgraded into this sleek, moody media room. Grasscloth wallpaper and matching built-ins envelope the room with plush seating. You can see the before photos here!
The homeowners of this Barton Creek home had a list of priorities for renovating their main living spaces, which included maximizing space and making cost efficient decisions to optimize the look and feel of their kitchen, family, and breakfast room. The homeowners wanted their new kitchen to be beautiful, but also practical and comfortable for themselves and their 4 children. The result is a bright and open space for their family to grow up in. Tour the space here.
Finally, the transformation of this multifamily property in San Antonio, helped us wrap up the year on a high note! This clubhouse in the Alamo Heights district now has furnishings and decor that match the cool, modern feel of the space. Read more about this project here.
We hope you have an enjoyable New Year’s holiday weekend and an even better 2019. We would be honored to help you with your home projects in the new year. Finally, as a reminder, we are closed for the holidays and will reopen at 11 am on Wednesday, January 2nd. Happy New Year!
