We hope you had a Happy 4th of July! It has been a short week and we have a quick blog post today that is filled with photos from our latest ‘Before & After’ series. The last few weeks we have shared the before and after images from this bright and open remodel in Barton Creek. We toured the kitchen, breakfast nook, and family room, but in case you have missed a blog or two here’s the images rounded up for you again.
Transforming the kitchen to a bright, beautiful and open concept set the tone for the other spaces.
Simply White by Benjamin Moore is the paint color on all the cabinets.
The statement blue pantry is painted in Wales Gray by Benjamin Moore. It is one of the jewels of the space.
Another special detail in the kitchen is the arched window. The arched window frame was in the space before, but this option with elegant detailing adds a soft and pretty element to the kitchenscape.
The breakfast room was a narrow space that still needed to sit the family of 6. New french doors, a chandelier, head chairs, and decor give the breakfast nook a casual elegance.
The new family room is neutral and stylish, but still practical. Durable performance fabrics were picked for all the upholstery.
There is plenty of space for the young family to relax, lounge and spend time together.
Another added element with this remodel was moving the fireplace and reconfiguring built-ins. The room used to have close to 20 different shelves to accessorize. We simplified the space with a much smaller set of flanking shelves. They are a lot easier to accessorize and manage now.
The paneling that existed in the space is now much better suited with the interior selections that surround it.
