The Heather Scott Home & Design team has been busy, busy, busy these past few months. I’ve had several construction projects which always seem to take forever to complete. I know it feels even longer for the homeowner!
I have been working on a lovely French style home which the new owner wants to ‘make it a little funky’; which has been a lot of fun!
Even though the remodel work is still in process, I wanted to share this sneak peak at the entry hall so you could get an idea of what the project looks like.
We added Kelly Wearstler Graffito wallpaper to the main wall.
If you are a new designer, let me forewarn you on ceiling heights and wallpaper. Not something you normally worry about. However, this ceiling peaked at 14’9″ and the paper runs 15’…not much wiggle room. Add to that having to match a large pattern repeat and A and B rolls, and let’s just say our wallpaper installer was not happy with me!
Now that the paper is installed, it is time to start adding the fun stuff!
We were there this week to hang an original art piece from Pryor Fine Art in Atlanta, GA. We also delivered a leather bordered wool and sisal rug and dropped off a Mongolian lamb stool. Next week comes the buffet, fabulous lamps and a baby grand piano! A lot more fabulous-ness to come from this house in future posts!
