Most of the time I am energized by trends in the design industry and enjoy sharing my ‘blog thoughts’ on those. However, once in a while it is really rewarding to share the results of a wonderful project. So, this week I’d like to share one of my favorite projects with you.
Just published:
The Montana home we designed was written up in a lovely article in the Big Sky Journal.
Several of you asked when you were going to get to see final photos of the project. Many magazines now prefer you not put design photos on the internet before they get published in a magazine, which can take some time. So, we have been patiently waiting to post the photos until after Big Sky Journal featured the home!
If you don’t already subscribe to the magazine, or live in the West, you might have a hard time finding an issue. In that case, the full article can be accessed here:
Heather Scott Home & Design Press Page
The magazine article has many photos in it and I am including some of those here. I am also showing you many others that were not published. All photos were taken by Gordon Gregory Photography.
Exterior
Great Room- including kitchen, dining, living and breakfast areas.
Back Stairwell
Powder Bath
Laundry Room
Landing
Bedrooms/Bathrooms- each bedroom had a color scheme (gray, blue, cream, green and brown) with coordinating custom tile work and vanities in each bath.
As you can imagine, this was a great location to build a home from the ground up! I only got stranded due to snow once, but otherwise it was a lovely new build project. I am a little more of a beach girl at heart, but you can’t help but appreciate this amazing country when you can live in a beautiful location like Montana!
So pretty!!!
Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!! Congrats on such a beautiful project and thanks so much or sharing it here!!
