By now, you are probably prepping the turkey and setting the table for tomorrow’s festivities! I could claim to be doing the same since Thanksgiving is at my house this year, however that would be stretching the truth. We have divvied up the various parts of the meal. I volunteered for the cranberry sauce (in the can) and the mashed potatoes (the ones in the plastic container taste great with some sour cream tossed in – hehe). Thanksgiving meal, done. I promise to put a more thought and care into the decor than I did the food!
When you are entertaining family and guests in your home, the proper lighting is very important. Lamp lighting is the best way to light the rooms. Glaring recessed cans do not do your skin justice, so plan on dimming the overheads and turning on some table lights. If you are short on great looking lamps, come in and see some of the pairs of lamps we just received!
The height on these lamps is 36” and are complete with a linen shade and a solid wood base. They are transitional in style, with the ability to fit in any setting and are priced at $274.99.
The second pair we received are more traditional, have a burlap shade and an antiqued finish.
Each lamp is priced at $389.99 and are 30” in height.
As you know, once Thanksgiving is over we are full into Christmas mode. Nothing puts you more in the spirit than Thymes Frasier Fir candles! These smell just like a cut pine tree. The company says it is a ‘mix of Siberian Fir, sandalwood, cedarwood, and floral musk’ but we think they smell just like Christmas- perfect for the holidays! And, at various sizes and price points, they make great treats for neighbors, teachers, and other friends you want to share a little gift with.
The candles are available in a signature size for $28 and $12.50 for the votive.
Come in today and check out the great things we’ve received this week! We won’t be open for Thanksgiving Day but we will reopen for business on Friday at 10am! Happy Thanksgiving!
