I’ve had a hankering recently for pretty hide rugs. Especially the ‘white’ cowhides and the zebra versions. I think, used appropriately, these rugs can add a level ‘chic’ to many residences.
Here are a couple we just received this week.
This is the ‘white’ (or beige) rug:
This rug is about 6ftx7ft (hard to measure) and sells for $799.99
The ‘zebra’ style cowhide is here:
It is about 5ftx6ft and sells for $599.99.
Both these rugs look great layered on top of a sisal or seagrass rug. And, if you are really into the look, a fiddle leaf fig tree in the corner, a la this picture which is pinned on my Pinterest board:
A ‘designer’ hide rug might be just the pizazz your place needs. Come into the store to see for yourself!
These look very chic! I am never so confident in my rug choices; I think it takes a certain boldness to go for a hide. Very cool.
Kudos to Heather for maintaining your cool on the Four Homes show! They were wanting adversity and “weird”! I’d live to move into your home! It was number 1 for me.
Thanks Bonnie- I hope you and Kimberly get to watch together and chat about all the craziness!
Once you start using them you will never go back. I am curious about the white cowhide rug. It has a very unique shape. Did you buy it like that or did you cut it to that shape?
We bought it that way. It is very beautiful.
Well its very cool. The funny thing is they are so easy to cut and yet you just never see it done like that. You defiantly have put some new ideas in my head. Thanks for sharing.
