Austin Monthly magazine just released the results of its second annual “Best of the City” awards.  These selections are determined by the magazine editors and readers votes.

Heather Scott Home & Design won for Best Interior Design in Austin in 2013, and we were thrilled to be recognized again in 2014 with another win!

     Best Interior Designer in Austin

As we celebrate Thanksgiving this week I want to say how thankful I am for my husband and business partner, Scott, as well as our staff: Emily, Sarah, Raquel, Nikki, Eli, Charissa and Olivia, who have all helped to make 2014 another great year for our business.

In addition, we’ve had a great year with great clients and I am thankful for them.  Anyone who has taken on a building or remodeling project knows what a challenge it can be.  There are a lot of peaks and valleys when it comes to home construction.  Our clients stick with us and when we get to the end it is always worth it!  I am grateful for the individuals and families who trust us, even when it is hard to give over control of one of the most important things in your life, your home.

I hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving and remember to take a few minutes to revisit what you have to be thankful for this year.
