What’s New Wednesday: Orchid & Succulent Arrangements
February 27, 2013 in What's New Wednesday | no comments

With spring right around the corner, it is time to freshen up your home with some flowers.  If you are like me and can not keep ‘real’ flowers alive no matter what you do, we have the perfect solution for you.  Our florals are so realistic, most people can’t tell they are ‘faux’, even when they touch them!

Our showroom is stocked with a variety of sizes and styles to fit your home’s decor.  Many of these orchids and succulents are placed in vintage, one of a kind containers that make each one very unique and special.

This medium sized orchid is placed in a silver, metallic bowl with a “crackled” effect. It is $189.99 and is 27”H x 9”W.

This one stem orchid is perfect for a small space as it is 26”H x 8”W. It is set in a vintage tofu bucket and is $159.99.

This amazing arrangement is our largest orchid and it looks incredible as a focal point on a dining table, entry table or console.   The large antique rice bucket has such character and the full orchid blooms are very realistic.  This arrangement is 33”H x 12”W and is $499.99.

This orchid is placed in a more traditional and neutral ceramic pot. It can fit in any color scheme and is $185.00. The dimensions are 29”H x 6.5”D.

If you were able to make it out to the Southern Living Home, you may have noticed this arrangement in the Great Room.  We have a similar piece here in he store.  This orchid is a little more modern, with an enamel, hammered silver tray and is 29”H x 15”W.

At Heather Scott Home & Design, we also really like the look of succulents as “in home” décor.  These are three of our favorite arrangements:

    1) This mixed succulent arrangement is placed in a ceramic painted bowl and is $278.99. The various vibrant shades of green and the subtle purple hues are the perfect combination!  This piece would be great on a cocktail table with the low height (11”H x 8”W).

    2) This succulent is 13”H x 12”W, and would look great on a console table. It is in a hammered bronze bowl and is $195.00.

    3) This little mixed succulent is the perfect size for one’s work desk and it comes in a small metal square container. It is 9.5”H x 5.5”W and is $149.00.

If you’ve ever had difficulty caring for a real plant/flower, these are perfect for you!  Just set them out and you don’t have to do a thing for years to come!  Who doesn’t need something that makes life easier?
