“Good Day Austin” & Southern Living Showcase House
February 15, 2013 in Southern Living Custom Showcase House | 4 comments

The feedback from the showhouse has been awesome!  So much so, that Southern Living just named Silverton Custom Homes & Henley Homes (the builders) as “Southern Living Custom Builder of the Year”!  What an honor!  It has been such a blessing for Scott and I to work with such a wonderful, family organization.

Anita at Red Chair Market came out to our Grand Opening & Showcase House Party and wrote a nice blog post about the event.  Check it out by clicking on her logo:

Time is running out quickly if you plan to get out to the house.  It will be on tour through the 24th.  Just a reminder, Denise McGaha and I will be giving two design seminars at the house on Saturday, February 23rd beginning at 11am.

Also, tune into “Good Day Austin” this Wednesday (the 20th) on Fox to hear Linda Grimm and I take you on a picture tour of the home and talk about some of the key points.  It will be my first foray back on TV since Four Houses this summer and I have to say I am looking forward to it!  I don’t know exactly what time we will be on air, but sometime after 9:00am.  I hope you can tune in.

2013 has started with a bang!  Our new location, winning Best Home Accents store, and now, partnering with the best custom home builder in the country, per Southern Living!  God works in great ways.  More news and photos about the showhouse to come, so stay tuned for future posts.
